Position Summary:

Assists nursing service personnel with a varietyof patient care activities and related services necessary in caringfor the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists withpersonal hygiene, takes vital signs, and changes bed linens. Mayserve and collect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment,and clean, sterilize, store, and prepare other supplies. Hasknowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedureswithin a particular field. Relies on instructions andpre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to aregistered nurse or supervisor.

Qualifications:

Education Required:

High school diploma or GED.

Certifications Required:

CPR; CNAlicense, home health certification, or PCA certification Tenetcomplies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatoryvaccination of its workforce.
