In addition, the Sign Installer / Service Technician will be responsible for: The timely, cost-effective, safe/sound, professional completion of installation and service jobs. Adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Understanding technical drawings and wiring schematics (electrical). Adhering to company’s installation and mount procedures for all signage components. Meeting assigned goals and responsibilities including adherence to schedule and project budgets. Working knowledge of welding and cutting torch equipment. Working knowledge of power and hand tools. Detailed knowledge of safely digging footers setting steel and pouring concrete J-bolts slabs etc. Adhering to standards applicable to load rigging for lifts and securing loads for travel. Comprehensive understanding and adherence to all state specific, OSHA and hazmat safety rules. Understanding of the wiring and grounding of all signs lights L.E.D.’S, Neon and controls. Qualifications, education, and requirements for the Sign Installer / Service Technician position include: Typical hours are from 6:00am – 2:30pm 3-5 years minimum of installation experience. Must have 6g certification. Experienced in basic electricity, welding, cutting torches, and crane operation. Exceptional attention to detail. Knowledge of sign manufacturing, installation, and service. Clean, safe driving record. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of all state specific current building code and

NEC & UL

codes. Working experience in using equipment for excavation and forklift. Must possess a class minimum of class B CDL with air brake endorsement and DOT health card and knowledge of documentation requirements for completion of driver log book & IFTA reports. Physical requirements for the Sign Installer / Service Technician position include: The physical requirements are must be comfortable working at heights over 50′. Climbing stooping, reaching, walking, lifting 75lbs or less, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, this work is performed indoors and outdoors and requires overnight travel when necessary.
