Responsibilities:

The Filling Technicianwill be responsible for the safe operation of highly automatedequipment used to fill syringes. The Filling Technician is expectedto model current Good Manufacturing Practices and ensure compliancewith all safety standards. They will support the Line Lead indevelopment of operators and identification of opportunities foroperational improvement.

Key Objectives:

Adhere to RTP Plant safetypolicies and procedures, contribute to a safe work environment.

Adhere to standard operating procedures and current GoodManufacturing Practices to ensure quality of product. Supportleadership on manufacturing floor by ensuring high level of safety,quality, and productivity to maintain reliable supply of productsto patients. Proactively monitor documentation and product quality,properly documenting all activities and reporting issues tosupervision. Key support for leadership during troubleshooting,functions as reliable point of contact for issue escalation on theshop floor Assist Supervisor in development and training of shiftoperators. Drives key departmental objectives including improvingsafety performance, reducing deviations, improving productivity,and training compliance.

Basic Requirements:

High School Diploma orequivalent Minimum 1 year relevant experience, (education may besubstituted for experience with manager discretion)

AdditionalSkills/Preferences:

Demonstrated ability to train and coach othersAbility to effectively communicate (written and verbal) Flexibilityand problem-solving skills Basic computer skills (desktop software)are required. 3 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical, orequivalent regulated industry Scientific/technical degrees orcertifications Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices(CGMPs) Previous experience utilizing solution filling equipmentand/or isolator technology Previous experience with pre-filledsyringe (PFS) technology Previous experience with ManufacturingExecution Systems and electronic batch release. Knowledge of leanmanufacturing principles
