Job Summary Daily tasks include cutting, drilling, and welding stock metal into structures per engineering drawings. May operate as a group, or independent of one another depending on factors of the build.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare screen rings for screening process Cut mesh materials to precise specifications for screen application Perform screen fabrication using either the weld mount process or the epoxy mount process Use power tools such as grinders and drills safely and effectively Move and organize inventory as needed throughout the day Follow site-specific and general health and safety guidelines at all times Collaborate with floor manager to ensure proper prioritization of jobs and material readiness Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate production Perform basic mechanical maintenance on department tools and assets Adapt to a dynamic environment where priorities and assignments may change without advance notice Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety procedures Requirements and Qualifications Reliable means of transportation to and from work Ability to lift up to 80 lbs Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Ability to pass a respirator fit test Ability to read and interpret product specification drawings Basic computer skills required for clocking in/out and job tracking Strong teamwork and communication skills Prior experience with power tools strongly preferred Willingness to follow detailed processes and quality standards Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
