Stainless Steel Handrail Fabrication and Installation Description:

We are seeking a skilled and certified TIG Welder to join our team in fabricating high-quality stainless steel handrails. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, superior welding skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on various custom projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Welding and Fabrication:

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components to fabricate handrails according to blueprints and specifications.
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and shaping as needed.

Quality Control:

• Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Address any defects or deficiencies in the welding.

Technical Skills:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Use various tools and equipment such as grinders, saws, core drill, impact drivers and measuring devices in a safe and efficient manner.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow safety protocols and always wear appropriate protective gear.
• Ensure welding equipment is maintained and in good working condition.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors to report progress and any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in TIG welding.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in TIG welding, specifically with stainless steel.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and practices.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks (e.

g., bending, standing for long periods).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience fabricating handrails or other similar structures.
• Familiarity with different welding techniques and other advanced fabrication tools (core drilling, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in various environments (e.g., workshop, construction site).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
