00 per hour Job Summary We are hiring a Truck Body Installation Technician to join our team and install truck bodies, hydraulic systems, and accessories on Class 6-8 commercial trucks . This is a full-time, hands-on position ideal for mechanically inclined candidates who enjoy working with power tools and vehicle systems. Key Responsibilities Install truck bodies, toolboxes, liftgates, and equipment on new chassis Measure, cut, drill, and fasten components using power and hand tools Perform light fabrication and basic MIG welding tasks Route and connect hydraulic and pneumatic systems (PTO, valves, hoses) Wire electrical systems and integrate body components with chassis controls Follow installation manuals, work orders, and shop drawings Maintain a safe, organized workspace and comply with OSHA regulations Work independently and in teams to meet daily production goals Required Skills & Experience Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with power tools Ability to read tape measures, diagrams, and written instructions Previous experience as an Installer , Assembler , or Upfitter preferred Welding or hydraulic experience a plus (but not required) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in standing, bending, or kneeling positions Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $16
