Candidates must be motivated self-starters who take pride in their work and pay attention to detail. You will work with engines, welding, and soldering, which requires a solid mechanical aptitude. Workflows will be either new builds or repair service work. our finished products support the underground trenchless utility and pipe rehabilitation industry. Candidates must pass a simple weld, solder, and mechanical skills test to determine proficiency and assess their ability to Mig and Tig weld (or their willingness to learn how). This position would be perfect for someone who is interested in becoming a skilled trades technician and has a natural curiosity. A strong candidate is most comfortable in a shop and has hobbies that include working on cars, engines, or other mechanical devices. We seek someone who wants to become part of our team and grow with the company to support our continued success. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs of company equipment. Utilize power tools and equipment to fabricate parts as needed. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct diagnostics to identify problems efficiently. Work with hydraulic systems to ensure proper functionality and safety standards are met. Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for equipment handling and repair processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience with hand tools. The ability to solder to make electronic repairs. Proficient in the use of power tools effectively and safely. Ability to fabricate components as necessary for repairs or modifications. Experience with Mig and Tig welding (or the willingness to learn how). A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to quality workmanship.
