Sign Fabricator/Installer The MD Companies 3449 Sunset Boulevard, West Columbia, SC 29169 Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication processes and be proficient in using various tools and equipment. As a Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components that meet our specifications and standards. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate fabrication methods. Operate fabrication machinery, including saws, welders, and other hand tools, to create parts and assemblies. Utilize an Ohmmeter to measure electrical resistance and ensure components meet required specifications. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency. Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a Fabricator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using an Ohmmeter for measuring electrical resistance is highly desirable. Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and materials. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
