Ceco Concrete Construction is the nation’s largest concretesubcontractor. Primary Responsibilities Activities mayinclude using pliers, cutting torch, welding, reading a tapemeasure, and installation of reinforcing steel at considerableheights above or below the ground, with fall protection measures inplace; standing, walking, or bending over on narrow work surfacesfor the placement of reinforcing steel. Environment is exclusivelyoutside, thus job often involves all weather extremes. Workrequires alert individuals with excellent balance and physicalstrength. The job of rodbuster, as described, falls into the heavywork level and requires lifting up to 75 pounds on a frequentbasis. Minimum Qualifications Frequently lifting, carrying, pushingand pulling up to 75 pounds of material. Frequently walking,stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing. Must be able to balanceon reinforced steel structures (example; wall forms) and ladders,while performing lifting activities and manual work (example; rebarmats). Must balance while standing/walking/crawling on narrow worksurfaces in forward and sideways directions of movement. PreferredExperience Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 5 yearsof rodbuster work experience at meets or exceeds performanceexpectations.
