Fiberglass Mold Specialist Location :

Role Overview :

The Fiberglass Mold Technician is a hands-on role focused on maintaining, repairing, and enhancing molds used to produce industry-leading fiberglass pools. This position requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality to ensure molds meet high manufacturing standards. Technicians will tackle technical challenges by repairing and modifying molds, supporting construction and reconstruction projects, and operating specialized tools in a dynamic, safety-focused environment that involves climbing, bending, and kneeling.

Key Skills and Qualifications Technical Expertise :

Experience in fiberglass construction, auto body repair, or composite materials, with the ability to repair, maintain, and modify molds to meet evolving production demands.

Tool Proficiency :

Skilled in using shop tools and equipment, including grinders, drills, saws, jigs, and pneumatic tools, with precision and safety.

Technical Drawing Interpretation :

Ability to accurately interpret technical mold construction drawings and schematics to support mold construction and reconstruction projects.

Physical Stamina :

Capability to work in various physical positions (climbing, bending, kneeling) for extended periods in a dynamic environment.

Safety Focus :

Strong adherence to safety protocols, including proper chemical handling and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as full-face respirators, knee pads, and fall protection, with the ability to pass respiratory testing.
