The essential job responsibilities of the Utility Worker, Machine and Metal Shops are to perform various unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in the machine and metal shops.

Qualifications Qualification Requirements:

To perform the Utility Worker, Metal and Machine Shop role, you must:

• Have a valid Class A Commerical driver’s license from state of residence within trial or probationary period after entering classification.
• Have successfully complete Placement/ Performance Exercises.
• Have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Physical Working Conditions:

Works inside and outside. Subject to hazards of working with sand-blasting power equipment, falling from structures, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, pulling, pushing, balancing, and heavy lifting while loading/unloading trucks, cleaning up and carrying materials / supplies, standing for long periods of time while operating machinery and climbing ladders/dumpsters.
