Role:
This technician will help operate and manage gas migration control and recovery systems in the field. It’s hands-on environmental work for someone mechanically inclined and interested in helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating/maintaining gas collection systems and monitoring wells
- Surface emissions testing and field sampling
- Routine maintenance on blowers, flares, pumps, tanks, etc.
- Calibrating and operating field monitoring equipment
- Recording daily logs and communicating technical data to the team
Qualifications:
- No specific experience required, but mechanical or construction knowledge preferred
- Comfortable using MS Office and reading construction plans/maps
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
