Job Summary:
S&N is hiring locate technicians to join our rapidly growing and industry leading team! The Locators will be responsible for accurately identifying and marking underground utilities to prevent damage during excavation projects.
Responsibilities:
Use various tools and equipment to locate and mark underground utilities Read and interpret utility maps and construction plans Communicate with construction crews to ensure accurate utility markings Conduct field surveys to identify utility locations Perform service technician duties related to utility locating Skills Proficient knowledge of all locatable facilities (gas, electric, communication, copper, fiber, water and sewer. Sound verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Sound diplomacy skills. Skilled in Excel and locate ticket management systems. Advanced knowledge of various facility records/prints. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
