Field Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Field Technician to support our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) efforts at the landfill site. The role involves analyzing landfill well data using an eTools system and conducting various maintenance tasks. This position offers the opportunity to work with a leading environmental engineering firm that focuses on landfill gas projects nationwide. Responsibilities + Read and tune landfill gas systems with a gas meter. + Perform pump maintenance, including pulling, rebuilding, troubleshooting, and replacing. + Conduct Surface Emissions Monitoring (SEMs) and probe testing. + Perform HDPE pipe fusion (welding). + Utilize company equipment and vehicles for job-related tasks. Essential Skills + Experience with landfill gas systems is a plus + Proficiency in environmental engineering practices. + Ability to perform data entry and data collection. + Mechanical experience. + Knowledge of environmental field sampling and testing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + HDPE pipe fusion certification is a plus. + Landfill gas tuning and reading expertise. + HAZWOPER certification. + Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Work Environment This role involves working at various landfill gas site in Bristol.
