The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainable design and a strong understanding of civil engineering principles. As a Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative outdoor spaces that enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of various projects. This role requires collaboration with clients, architects, and other professionals to develop comprehensive landscape plans that meet project specifications and environmental standards. Responsibilities Develop landscape design concepts and plans using software tools such as MicroStation, Rhinoceros 3D, Sketchup, and CAD. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for outdoor spaces. Conduct site analysis to assess environmental conditions, including soil quality, drainage, and existing vegetation. Create detailed drawings and specifications for irrigation systems, planting layouts, hardscapes, and other landscape elements. Ensure designs adhere to sustainable practices and promote ecological balance. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines and budgets. Prepare presentations using Adobe Creative Suite to effectively communicate design ideas to clients and stakeholders. Coordinate with contractors during the implementation phase to ensure designs are executed accurately. Skills Proficiency in landscape design software including MicroStation, Rhinoceros 3D, Sketchup, CAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and practices. Knowledge of civil engineering concepts as they relate to landscape architecture. Ability to draft detailed plans and specifications for various landscape components. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
