Thomas & Hutton has an opening for a motivated and driven Landscape Designer/Landscape Architect in Savannah, GA. As a member of our Land Design/Landscape Architecture department, the successful candidate will work collaboratively in an interactive studio environment throughout all phases of multiple projects. Responsibilities will include planning, design, preparation of construction plans, planting plans, specifications, reports, studies, cost estimates and permit applications. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in our fast-paced, collaborative and client-focused practice.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Landscape Architecture from an accredited University or College. Licensure preferred or planning and working toward licensure/PLA. 2-5 years of experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, SketchUp, Lumion and Adobe Creative Suite. Must be eager to learn, grow, and have a desire for career development.

Office Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of previous experience under a Professional Landscape Architect. The ability to work a regular schedule of 730AM

  • 530PM Mon-Thurs and 730AM
  • 1130AM Fri with occasional evenings and weekend work.

Must submit a portfolio that accurately represents experience and understanding of the design process to include built projects photos, presentation graphics and other design materials that represent skill set.
