Landscape Sales & Service Technician Heroes Lawn Care-Kennesaw/Acworth Kennesaw, GA Job Summary:

We are looking for a knowledgeable, customer-focused Landscape Sales & Service Technician to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in conducting on-site evaluations and preparing accurate, timely estimates for lawn care and landscaping services. The ideal candidate will combine technical landscaping expertise with strong interpersonal skills to deliver tailored solutions that meet each client’s unique property needs.

Compensation:

$23 – $26 hourly plus bonus

Responsibilities:

Conduct on-site evaluations of residential and commercial properties to assess landscaping and lawn care requirements. Consult with prospective clients to understand their goals, preferences, and budget. Recommend appropriate lawn care services and landscaping solutions based on site conditions and client objectives. Prepare and present detailed service quotes, including estimates for labor, materials, and project timelines. Generate and send quotes within hours of the on-site assessment. Follow up on outstanding quotes promptly to maximize conversion rates. Earn performance-based bonuses by meeting or exceeding close rate targets. Assist with regular lawn maintenance and landscaping work as needed. Maintain accurate records of all assessments, quotes, and client communications. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with follow-up communication after project completion. Collaborate closely with the field operations team to ensure timely and high-quality execution of services.

Working Conditions:

Outdoor work year-round in a variety of weather conditions. Frequent travel to client sites within the designated service area. Occasional availability on evenings or weekends, depending on client scheduling needs.

Qualifications:

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in lawn care, landscaping, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to evaluate landscaping needs and generate accurate, detailed estimates. Solid understanding of turf management, plant health care, irrigation systems, and basic landscape design. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and explain services clearly. Proficiency in basic math and computer use for estimating, scheduling, and record-keeping. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

Experience with Customer Relationship Management platforms like Jobber, estimating software, and Microsoft Excel. Certifications in horticulture, landscape design, or pesticide application are a strong plus.
