Landscape Designer Position Available In Plymouth, Massachusetts

Landscape Designer 1.5 1.5 out of 5 stars Middleboro, MA 02346 Spillane’s Nursery has a great opportunity for a Landscape Designer who will welcome the challenges and opportunities offered by a very busy and reputable landscape company servicing commercial and residential accounts across Massachusetts. Qualified candidates would be motivated and have the ability to design jobs, meet with clients, and facilitate the job with foreman and project managers to ensure the installs are smooth, efficient, and up to our company standard. This position is a salary position with year round employment.

Duties and Functions:

• Meet with potential leads or existing customer base.
• Design softscape and hardscape jobs for residential and commercial clients based on their needs and budgets.
• Draft proposals and tag plant material at our wholesale yard.
• Use of design software and other software being utilized by the company.
• Communicate internally with operation management staff to schedule jobs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the landscape industry.
• Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills.
• Knowledge of plant material.
• Basic understanding of drafting proposals and design software.
• Understanding of job site install operating procedures and schedules.
• Experience with landscape installations ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000.
