Job Description
Landscape Management:
Maintains, installs, and diagnoses plant material and support systems
Recommends design improvements to the overall landscape aspects
Reviews and utilizes the design documentation, site performance, and efficiency evaluations
Document Interpretation:
Interprets and applies related codes, drawings, specifications, and manufacturer publications
Equipment Management:
Operates landscape equipment accurately and efficiently
Understands and demonstrates the use of controls and management systems
Budget:
Complies with departmental budget
Educations:
Educate and train ” junior” staff members as needed
Regulation:
Ads to
NMHS/NMMC
Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues
Requirements:
4 yr degree in a related field or 2 yr degree with 2 yrs experience required or Equivalent of 4 yrs experience in a lead role in landscape maintenance, installation, code and drawings interpretation, etc.
Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
Must have good mechanical, planning, organizational, & basic computer skills.
Valid Mississippi Driver’s License with approved driving history; required
Good organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills; required
Working knowledge of landscape management, maintenance, installation (as described in Essential Functions); required
Excellent interpersonal skills; required
