Summary The Landscape Installation Salesperson is responsible for generating and processing leads, building relationships with existing and potential clients, and closing sales for landscape installation projects. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of landscape design and installation processes, and the ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
Responsibilities Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels including generated leads, networking, referrals, and online research.
Client Consultation:
Meet with potential clients to understand their landscape needs and preferences, assess project requirements, gather measurements, and provide expert advice and recommendations.
Proposal Development:
Prepare detailed and accurate project estimates, proposals, and contracts, ensuring they align with client expectations and company pricing strategies.
Sales Presentations:
Deliver compelling sales presentations to leads or clients to effectively communicate the value and benefits of the company’s landscape installation services.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring ongoing satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with the landscape installation team to ensure seamless project execution and client communication. Manage projects as needed.
Market Awareness:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
Sales Tracking and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress, and provide regular reports to management. Requirements 2+ years proven experience in sales, preferably in the landscaping industry Strong knowledge of landscape design, local plants and conditions, installation techniques, and materials. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Proficiency in using CRM and drafting/design software as well as other sales tools Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Sales targets and revenue generation. Client satisfaction and retention rates. Accuracy of estimates and proposals. Achieving targeted margins on each job. Timeliness of project coordination and communication. Strong knowledge of landscape design, local plants and conditions, installation techniques, and materials. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Proficiency in using CRM and drafting/design software as well as other sales tools Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
