Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic sales professional with a solid understanding of construction concepts. In this role, you’ll oversee certain aspects of projects to ensure they progress as planned and collaborate closely with the Cool Pool team to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct consultations with prospective clients to identify their needs, goals, and budgetary constraints. Present design ideas including customized features. Present the benefits and value of working with Cool Pool, Inc.
• After the initial consultation, work with the Cool Pool team to prepare and deliver proposals to the prospective clients that include but are not limited to design, pricing and terms and conditions.
• Follow-up with customers to address any open concerns or issues.
• Upon acceptance of the proposal, you will need to collaborate with the installation teams to ensure the project requirements are communicated and met in accordance with the client’s expectations.
• While the entire Cool Pool Construction Team will oversee the project, the salesperson is expected to take on the role of Relationship Manager.

This involves maintaining regular communication with the client, providing guidance and support, and staying closely informed about the project’s progress. Additionally, the salesperson should monitor the internal teams to ensure they are on track and step in as needed to address any issues or concerns.

• Minimally three site visits will be required: 1. Meet with the customer during the pool layout stage to introduce the project manager and staff. 2. Conduct a mid-installation visit to assess project progress. 3. Attend the indoctrination visit to introduce the Service Representative handling the indoctrination training.
• Take every opportunity to educate customers about the advantages of Cool Pool’s weekly cleaning and maintenance services. Also, seek referrals from current new pool construction clients.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, products, and competition.

Requirements:

• Minimal experience required: 10 years’ Inground Swimming Pool Structural Knowledge and Backyard Design Expertise.
• PHTA Certified Building Professional.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong listening skills are a requirement.
• Willingness to learn.
• Time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Goal-oriented with a drive to achieve sales targets.
• Exceptional keyboard skills.

Estimated PayScale:

$80,000 to $175,000 (higher depending on sales generated) for the Bergen, Westchester, Rockland County, NJ/NY area). Base salary plus commission.
