Job Description
Landscape Design Assistant SAERN Spartanburg, SC 29306 We have partnered with a Landscaping company in Spartanburg that is looking for a qualified candidate to join their office as a Landscape Design Assistant. Our client serve high-end residential and commercial properties mainly in the Spartanburg community. We are looking for a self-starting motivated individual to join the team!
Responsibilities:
- Working directly with the owner to assist with landscaping needs and preferences
- Assist and design and create landscape plans
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape projects
- Select appropriate plants, materials, and irrigation systems for each project
- Coordinate with contractors and assist the implementation of landscape projects
- Provide ongoing support and guidance during the construction phase
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design plans
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Some knowledge of landscape design principles and practices
- Experience with landscape maintenance and plant selection
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their installation
- Ability to create detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and contractors
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Must have valid SC driver’s license and degree in horticulture is preferred, but not require if you have some related experience.
