Redtree Landscape Design is seeking a motivated and talented Residential Landscape Assistant Designer to join our team. As an Assistant Designer, you will work closely with our experienced landscape designers to create innovative and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. Your creative vision and attention to detail will be crucial in developing designs that align with our clients’ desires and our company’s high standards. Responsibilities Collaborate with Redtree’s senior landscape designer, Jeff Rounds, to conceptualize and develop residential landscape designs, incorporating elements such as gardens, fireplaces, walkways, pools, and other outdoor features. Initial consultation with clients Create initial conceptual designs Meet with clients to review conceptual designs Creating take-offs and budget numbers Meeting with clients to choose material selections / pricing of materials Ordering materials Meeting with supervisors to lay-out project on site Qualifications Previous experience in residential landscape design or a related field is advantageous. Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software Strong knowledge of plants, hardscape materials, and construction techniques relevant to residential landscapes. Excellent visual and spatial design skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations and visualizations. Familiarity with local zoning regulations, environmental considerations, and permitting processes. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, colleagues, and contractors. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. A passion for landscape design, creativity, and an eye for aesthetics.
