Job Description

Overview Kimley-Horn is seeking a Landscape Architect with 4+ years of experience to join the Nashville, Tennessee (TN) office! Responsibilities Support our national Landscape Architecture and Land Planning practices by providing site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical expertise Work in a dynamic team environment on a range of projects including higher education, multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality and resort, community planning, and streetscape design throughout the region for a wide variety of great clients Project experiences will be diverse as we provide services to both the public and private sectors. Site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical expertise on public and private sector project Project Management/Task management on a variety of public and private sector projects Write proposals and scope of service Preparation of Drawing sets, Details and Specifications, 3D modeling and Rendering Qualifications 4+ more years of relevant work experience Bachelors or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture Registered Professional/Certified Landscape Architect (PLA/CLA) license or ability to obtain in 1 year Project management experience or desire to manage projects Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Lumion, and Microsoft (Word and Excel) skills Working knowledge of graphic software programs (Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView, and PowerPoint) Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Positive attitude, team oriented, and a strong work ethic Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Self-motivated; sense of urgency to produce high quality work Strong presentation skills and a desire to pursue work, manage clients and a team Involvement in professional organizations desired This is not a remote position. •Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview•Why Kimley-Horn?
