Tallo's Job Summary: The Log Loader Operator is responsible for operating a loader equipped with cable, hydraulic, or pneumatic controlled grapples to load tree-length wood, four-foot pulpwood, and logs onto trucks and trailers. They must have six months of referenced, paid production experience as a shovel loader operator, be at least eighteen years old, in good physical condition, and have a valid Class "B" driver's license. The operator must work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, comply with landowner environmental regulations, and have the ability to load two trucks per hour. This position also involves performing minor maintenance on the loader and truck, making repairs and adjustments, and having knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics.
