Must have valid and currentclass B drivers license to drive carrier vehicle. Must understand andhave basic knowledge of electric over hydraulic functions. Must be ableto identify wood species and qualities such as veneer, bird?s eye maple,saw logs, pallet stock and pulpwood. Must be able to load tree-lengthwood, four foot pulpwood and logs onto trucks and trailers. Must be ableto select wood to be loaded by specie and size to attain a balancedcompact load. Operator must have the ability to load two trucks perhour. Must be able to perform minor repairs, maintenance and adjustmentsto slasher and carrier. Must be able to operate a chain saw safely. Mustbe at least 18 years of age and be of good physical health. Must be ableto withstand working in outside adverse weather conditions.
