Summary of Job:
Daily handling/pouring/casting of numerous refractory materials into plaster molds.
Job Responsibilities:
Includes the following (other duties may be assigned): Receive work instructions/daily casting schedule from Supervisor or Designated Management Representative. Lift of molds and refractory parts of 50+ lbs. daily. Visual inspection of parts throughout the casting process to ensure top quality. Record casting daily casting data. Notify Supervisor or Designated Management Representative of equipment malfunctions/material anomalies. Keep the work area and equipment clean and orderly. Assist in training of new hires or others as directed by the Supervisor or Designated Management Representative. Notify the Supervisor or Designated Management Representative of out of specification conditions or any non-conformity relating to the product.
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
– Forklift experience preferred – Manufacturing experience preferred
