Motor Grader Operator LCI-Lineberger Construction, Inc. 1490 Kershaw Camden Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720 Motor Grader Operator Overview Operate motor grader and other heavy equipment on project sites Work on road construction, grading, processing, and spreading materials Tasks will be outdoors in all weather conditions Motor Grader Operator Duties
- Operate motor grader on road construction jobsites
- Control machine speed, direction, blade alignment to accomplish tasks
- Perform daily preventative maintenance such as inspection and fluid check
- Notify management of any equipment or safety issues
- Read and understand civil plan drawings
- Work subgrade and base to achieve proper processing
- Finish-grading for correct grade (blue-top and GPS)
- Coordinate daily project tasks between work crew members Motor Grader Operator Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in motor grader operation
