Job Purpose To assist in the pressing operations in an OSB manufacturing facility. In this position you will have the opportunity to: Clean and maintain equipment at forming distribution, forming bunkers, forming orientation rolls, forming line and preloader (two times per shift) Clean and maintain equipment at loader, press and unloader (three times per shift) Complete required press pit fire prevention rounds Changes filters at aspiration hoods (2 times shift) Assist maintenance personnel with down time events Lock-out/Tag-out equipment as needed for maintenance repair Relieves Press operator for breaks and absences Collects moisture analysis verification samples from forming line Perform other duties as necessary. Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations. What do I need to be successful?

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of equipment operation. Knowledge of general equipment maintenance. Time management skills. Demonstrated mechanical ability. Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations. Ability to work at heights.

Education:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Experience:

3 – 6 months experience in manufacturing operations preferred. Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position. Work Environment Plant environment with exposure to sawdust, chemicals, extreme temperatures, and other inclement conditions.
