- General labor
- Roller and screen changes
- Belt work
- Steel sets
- Overcasts
- Jacks
- Seal preparation
- Pumpable cribs
- Scoop operating
- Bolting
- Other laborer duties as required

Job Requirements Experienced and Inexperienced Miners:
- Underground AL Experienced Miner or
- Apprentice Miner Certification
- in state of AL Required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Able to work any shifts, including weekends and holidays required
- Ability to pass background and drug and alcohol testing required. 7 year background check
- Distinct aptitudes to perform job duties with care, commitment, passion and pride
- Dependability to be consistently at work and on time with ability to work 40+ swing shift schedule as needed that may include working a different mine location
- Ability to utilize different task training and to work on weekends as required
- Team member mentality with ability to follow all safety regulations that includes wearing required Personal Protective Equipment
- Lift Carry capability or to lift 50lbs
- Bend and twist carry capability of 40+ lbs
- Equipment/material carry capability including up/down stairs
- Multiple-limb coordination, near/far vision, manual dexterity, climbing capability, long-distance walking capability.
