The Production Support Operator is responsible for supporting the case erectors as well as supporting production control. Although primary responsibilities will be to support the case erector area, the Production Support Operator will be available to act as a middle material handler as needed. Safe operation of a fork lift/clamp truck/squeeze truck will be required at times.
Job Function:
Job functions include, but are not limited to the following: Support gluer uptime by ensuring erected cases are delivered in a timely manner by the personnel within the area. Training case erector personnel on shift
Perform case Erector make readies Perform Operational PM tasks on case erectors
Execute SAP work orders on the case erectors
Assist with conveyer jams
Perform quality inspections on incoming corrugate
Operate the down stroke bailer Organize and maintain corrugated inventory for use on the WOS gluers.
Constant bending and stooping Occasional reaching to change tape on the case erector Stage corrugated for case erectors
Operate four balers; properly load baling wire to ensure minimum of four wires per bale
Perform daily baler operator inspections and cleaning
Required Skills:
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Able to multi-task with ease.
Required Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Manufacturing experience.
