About the

Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled UndergroundOperator 1 to join our team. As an Underground Operator 1, you willbe responsible for operating and maintaining underground miningequipment, ensuring the safety of all personnel and equipment, andmeeting production targets. You will work closely with other teammembers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently andeffectively. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety willbe critical to your success in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experienceoperating underground mining equipment Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with remote control equipmentExperience with underground blasting Experience with maintenanceand repair of underground mining equipment

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain underground mining equipment, includingloaders, trucks, and drills Ensure the safety of all personnel andequipment by following established safety procedures Meetproduction targets by working closely with other team members tocomplete tasks efficiently and effectively Perform routinemaintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance Maintainaccurate records of equipment performance and maintenanceactivities

Skills:

As an Underground Operator 1, you will need tohave strong communication skills to work effectively with otherteam members. You will also need to have excellent problem-solvingskills to troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure that productiontargets are met. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety arecritical to success in this role. Additionally, experience withremote control equipment, underground blasting, and maintenance andrepair of underground mining equipment are preferred.
