JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in planting, pollinating, harvesting, threshing, shipping, weeding, preparing fields, preparing seed, sampling, detasseling and rogueing May operate farming equipment such as a sprayer or thresher R D positions may also include electronic data collection in field and laboratory settings utilizing PC and handheld data collection devices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and / or related experience may be required. 1-3 Years of Agriculture/Horticulture experience Must be able to understand verbal and written task and safety instructions delivered in English, and to perform assigned tasks accurately. Must be able to adhere to all client SOPs and to support all site safety requirements. Previous experience with MS Office / Excel and other standard computer and software systems may be required. Basic mechanical ability / understanding of equipment maintenance (able to operate and trouble shoot equipment) may be required.
