We provide assistance to our customers in all aspects of their wholesale, retail, petroleum marketing and aviation fuel distribution businesses.

Position Summary:

Service Technicians at Jones Brothers Company, Inc display a wide variety of skills and have the ability to work technical problems. Service technicians install, maintain and repair fuel dispensers, submersible fuel pumps; service station site controllers; credit card readers; cash register consoles, pumping PCW, take and line monitoring equipment and various other types of equipment found in service station and convenience gas stations.

Responsibilities:

Understand and comply with applicable fire safety, OSHA and EPA rules and regulations. Observe, analyze and determine action for service and repair equipment Perform necessary repairs to correct situations in a professional and productive manner. Perform start-up, repair and schedule maintenance on equipment. Perform factory authorized modifications per specifications. Maintaining tools required for performing the job effectively and safely. Resolve warranty calls on dispensers and tank monitors. Perform service calls as needed on an after-hours on-call basis Perform break fix and preventative maintenance on service station electronics, computers, and the fuel dispensing systems, including electronics, plumbing and mechanical work. Open and close work order with dispatch and provide service repair narratives (verbal and written) for the customer Submit completed paperwork for time and repairs made accurately and in a timely manner Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all assigned duties are completed in a cost-effective manner exceeding customer expectations. Maintain inventory and supplies in the company vehicle. Maintain company vehicle ensuring cleanliness, organization and hazard free inside and out. Willing to travel when required or as needed

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required Must be at least 21 years of age and obtain a valid driver’s license Must be eligible to work in the United States Familiarity of computer operations and aptitude for learning computer skills. Gilbarco Dispenser certification and Veeder Root Tank Monitor certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

ability to repetitively lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds with frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours daily. Must be able to meet company employment requirements, which include passing drug test, criminal background check and motor vehicle report.
