Equipment Service Summer Co-op – Brandon 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Brandon, MS 39042 SUMMER CO-OP position available for an outstanding student in the electrical/HVAC training program. During the summer program with Brown Group Companies, the student will rotate and train in different positions within our Equipment Service Department. Working in Refurb/Setup, Installation, Service, water filtration, and Refrigeration. Machines include coffee/tea, fountain drink, vending, and drink coolers.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Prepare equipment surfaces for repainting, resurfacing, or application of new decals/facings Use lifting and moving equipment to load and unload large vending machines, coolers, and fountain units Repair and perform preventative maintenance on equipment Ride along install team to assist with equipment installs Ride along with service team members to learn and assist on equipment service issues Maintain a clean working environment
Physical Demands:
Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to physically move vending machines as required
Work Environment:
Work mostly indoors in service department or customer locations. May work outdoors as needed.
