SUMMARY:

This is a first shift position reporting to the 1st shift, Lower Drum Dock Supervisor. The position is 100% onsite. This position operates the drum processing unit. The tasks of this individual will include, but is not limited to:

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Transfer drums to processing units Use hand tools to remove material from drums Operate pneumatic pumps Preform DPU start up checks Perform preventative maintenance on machinery Perform general housekeeping Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to read and write. Must be able to push, pull, and lift, up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Requires weekend and possible 10-hour shifts when production permits. Must have high school diploma or GED. Must be able to wear PPE as listed in pertinent SOP’s. Must be able to pass background check, pre-employment drug screening, and preemployment physical. Must comply with all DOT, OSHA, and RCRA requirements. 1 year min. manufacturing/plant experience Additional Desired

SKILLS AND

Experience:

Good work ethic and perform as a Team Player. DOT, RCRA, and HAZCOM training is a plus, but not required for employment. Training will be provided annually to all employees. Forklift experience is a plus but will be trained onsite if needed. Follow directions. Follow all safety rules. Must be able to lift, up to 50 pounds as needed. 7am-4pm, with scheduled OT.
