Role:
As a Rig Technician at Rambo Marine, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of drilling rigs. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair various equipment, including pumps, butterfly valves, and electrical systems, to ensure optimal performance. You will also be involved in quality control processes, ensuring that all operations meet industry standards and regulations. Additionally, you will work closely with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during drilling operations. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to the overall success and safety of our oil field projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a rig technician or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry. Strong understanding of electrical systems and programmable logic controllers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in rig operations or related technical fields. Experience with down hole equipment and painting processes. Knowledge of industry safety regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment, including pumps and electronic controls. Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions. Assist in the installation and testing of new equipment and systems on the rig. Document maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management.

The required skills, such as proficiency in pumps and butterfly valves, are essential for performing maintenance and repairs on drilling rigs.
