Job Duties$1000 Sign On Bonus Available Depending on the job location,lodging and rotating schedule may be provided.

Responsibilities:

Under supervision, assists during rigging-up and rigging-down ofcementing service equipment on work locations to include spottingof cement storage vessels, pre-mixing of spacer fluids, andrigging-up appropriate data monitoring equipment Learns basic oilwell operations including but not limited to: pipe capacities andvolume/height math, plug landing pressures, absolute volumes(including total water requirements for job), hydrostatic anddifferential pressure, resulting forces, balanced plugs, bulkcement blending calculations to include liquid additives andweighted spacers, pressure to reverse, and determining burst andcollapse Assists in the operation of some or all of the following:cement pumping and mixed equipment, blenders, liquid additivemetering systems, centrifugal pumps, data acquisition systems,Automatic Density Control (ADC) systems, bulk cement blending,delivery, and storage systems, manifold equipment, and cementingplug releasing tools Assists in the performance of pre-trip andpost-trip vehicle inspections and associated paperwork/reportsVerifies correct line up of valves on bulk systems and surfacemanifold equipment Understands hazardous materials, job, wash upand discharge procedures Promotes safety awareness andenvironmental consciousness, and complies with all applicablesafety and environmental procedures and regulations Ensurescompliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulationsand guidelines Promotes and takes an active part in qualityimprovement processes

Qualifications Work Experience:

Must have 3-6months of experience as Operator Assistant I – Cementing or 1 yearof related work experience in oilfield services Must have Class ACDL licensure Must have a satisfactory driver record with noDWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUIcharges Completion of Operator Assistant I – Cementingcompetencies, or similar level of competence from previous industryexperience Able to lift 60 lbs.
