The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various heavy machinery in our Dirt/Sand Pit ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals. Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, water trucks, and Caterpillar machinery to move dirt, sand, gravel or other materials.
• Digging, Excavating, and loading materials into trucks or other containers for transportation.
• Maintain and organize stockpiles of dirt, sand, or gravel, ensuring easy access and efficient material handling.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate work activities and maintain workflow.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents that occur on-site. Skills
• Proficient in heavy equipment operation
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with Sand/Dirt Pit site protocols and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
