Track Hoe Operator zion memorial gardens 501 Tarrant Huffman Rd, Birmingham, AL 35217 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motived Track Hoe Operator to join our dynamic team at Zion Memorial Gardens. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various heavy equipment (Track Hoe and Back hoe) on cemetery sites, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of digging processes and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals. Duties Operate heavy equipment including back hoes and track hoes on cemetery site. Perform horizontal digging and covering of graves. Dig graves and prepare sites for burial services. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs. Collaborate with onsite supervisors and other operators to ensure smooth workflow. Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in digging graves as directed by the Operations Manager. Experience Proven experience in heavy equipment is preferred. Familiarity with construction and cemetery sites procedure and safety standards. Experience with digging is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
