Required Work Monday-Friday (Up to 50 hours per week) with availability on the occasional Saturday. Smart Phone or other mobile device for communication and data logging applications. Skills Work experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator on various types of equipment. (Mini Excavator, Skid Steer, Excavator, Roller, Bull Dozer, Motor Grader, and other equipment as needed.) Extensive knowledge of grades, layout and reading and interpreting plans. In addition to operating heavy equipment, applicants will be expected to perform basic labor tasks typically required on construction sites. It may also be expected to safely operate hand and power tools of all types including jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, pneumatic tampers, etc. Responsibilities Show up to work on time. Operate, inspect and maintain equipment. Rig and hoist construction materials as needed. Soil leveling, rock placement, and riprap stone placement. Meet deadlines and production goals. Inspect equipment for mechanical problems and safety issues and preform preventative maintenance. Report problems immediately to supervisor. Technical Skills Desired (Not Required) Class A/B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with no restrictions. Microsoft Word/Excel, Adobe PDF and QuickBooks Time Experience.
