The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery on construction sites, including bulldozers, loaders, skid steers, excavators and backhoes. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects are completed safely and effectively. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, skid steers, and backhoes for various construction tasks. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment on construction sites. Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to execute project plans and timelines. Assist in paving operations and other related tasks as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment. Skills Proficient in heavy equipment operation with experience in bulldoze, loader operation, grader operation, and backhoe operation. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on machinery. Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is preferred. Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety standards. Excellent communication skills for teamwork and collaboration. Commercial driving experience is a plus but not mandatory.
