Directional Drill Crew East Coast Underground Utilities, LLC Port Saint John, FL 32927 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, with experience in various types of machinery. As a Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. Duties Operate heavy equipment including dump trucks, water trucks, loaders, and bulldozers to complete assigned tasks. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assist in the transportation of materials and equipment to job sites. Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation. Experience Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as Caterpillar equipment, tankers, and loaders is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is essential for performing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. Experience with dump trucks and water trucks is highly desirable. A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory for all positions. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively on-site. Must be willing and able to work in the Florida elements. Compensation begins at $17.00 Hour and up depending on experience and drivers license status. Applicant must be able to get to our equipment yard in Port St John by 7 AM Monday to Friday and occasionally weekends. Paid Holidays after 3 months employment. 1 week Paid Vacation after 1 year. 2 weeks after 2 years.
