Gps Dozer Operator ( Experienced) Construction Port Charlotte, FL 33953 Deme Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced GPS Dozer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating GPS-equipped dozers and other heavy equipment, with a focus on precision and efficiency. This role requires a high level of expertise in grading, site preparation, and maintaining optimal performance on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate GPS-guided dozers to perform earthmoving tasks, including grading, leveling, and shaping land for construction projects. Utilize GPS and machine control technology to achieve precise grade specifications and improve efficiency. Follow blueprints, site plans, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Ensure the dozer is well-maintained and regularly inspected to meet safety and performance standards. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and in accordance with project goals. Perform site clearing, excavation, and other earthmoving duties as needed. Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment at all times. Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience operating GPS dozers or similar heavy equipment. Proven expertise in operating dozers with GPS and machine control systems. Strong knowledge of construction grading techniques and site preparation. Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, plans, and site layouts. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a team environment and follow instructions. Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company and industry safety standards.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials. Capable of working in varying weather conditions and outdoor environments. Ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
