Job Title:

Loader Operator Job Description The Loader Operator is responsible for performing pre and post inspection of equipment, reporting safety hazards, loading trucks efficiently, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role requires continuous communication with the Plant Tower Operator and involves performing utility tasks and preventive maintenance on equipment. Responsibilities Perform pre and post inspection of equipment and report any safety hazards promptly. Audit mitigation of safety hazards or concerns. Fill out and submit all required documentation on time. Efficiently load trucks and carry material as required. Continuously communicate with Plant Tower Operator for Scale Weighmaster. Maintain pad level and loading area clear of debris. Keep equipment clean and safe. Perform utility tasks such as shoveling and water hosing when needed. Perform miscellaneous work with loader as assigned by Quarry Manager or Lead man. Conduct required preventive maintenance on the equipment. Follow all safety checks, rules, and regulations. Essential Skills Mechanical skills Troubleshooting abilities Experience with hand and power tools Concrete and utilities maintenance Additional Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of mechanical industrial maintenance experience 2+ years of front end loader experience Work Environment The position is based in a concrete yard located in the Port of Tampa. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crystal River, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $27.00/hr.
