Full-Time Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and adaptable All-Around Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This role requires a safety-minded professional with the ability to operate a broad range of heavy machinery used in construction and site development projects. The ideal candidate will be experienced, dependable, and capable of working efficiently both independently and within a team-setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operates a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and skid steers. Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine checks to ensure machinery is in safe, working condition. Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices to maintain a safe work environment. Support all aspects of site work, including excavation, grading, loading, trenching, backfilling, and material transport. Perform basic maintenance and report any mechanical issues or repairs needed promptly. Collaborate with supervisors, crew members, and other trades to execute project plans effectively. Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and project specifications when required. Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and inspection reports. Ensure cleanliness, proper storage, and secure handling of tools, equipment, and materials. Adapt to changing project needs and assist with general labor tasks as necessary. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator in construction. Solid understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and job site safety protocols. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Strong physical condition with the stamina to perform strenuous tasks. Effective communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented attitude. Comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with specialized equipment (e.g., cranes, forklifts, dump trucks, trenchers). Familiarity with OSHA standards and construction site safety regulations.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment (up to [insert weight]). Capable of standing, walking, crouching, bending, and operating equipment for extended periods. Willingness to work in confined spaces and at heights, as required by the project.
