The ideal candidate will have experience operating skid steers and other heavy machinery on paving sites. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Skid Steer Operator will play a crucial role in various paving projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Duties Operate skid steers and other duties as assigned by foreman Perform tasks related to site preparation, paving, and cleanup. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines while adhering to company protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is stored properly after use. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly. Requirements Proven experience in skid steer operation and familiarity with other heavy machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Ability to work on paving sites and follow safety regulations diligently. Valid driving license is preferred. Punctuality is expected. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks outside as required.
