Benefits of working here at Savage + Excellent Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, and short and long-term disability + 401K with company match and profit sharing + Three weeks of PTO to start + Paid Holidays + Outstanding Culture, o pportunities for growth + We provide Uniforms & PPE (no cost to Team Members) Here is what you will be doing + Daily load/ unloading of materials to/from trailers and rail cars , u nderstand and follow operating procedures and policies + Learn to operate rail car loading systems and equipment, p erform work safely and productively, cross-train on all functions at the facility, and p erform general maintenance on equipment + Enforce safety policies and procedures with other Team Members and visitors + Assist with other duties within the facility (general maintenance, landscape upkeep, and painting) Requirements of a successful Operator + Forklift experience (2 years) required + Heavy equipment experience is a plus + Read, write, and understand English, High School Diploma or GED equivalent, b asic math skills, c omputer skills (light data entry) + Valid Driver’s License + Qualified candidates must be able to pass an extensive background check, a Pre-Employment Drug Screen , and a Physical Here are some of the physical requirements for this role + This position is outside in ALL weather conditions (heat, rain, cold temperatures) + Physically able to climb up and down rail equipment/ladders safely + Willing to work with break bulk and dry bulk materials + Can carry at least fifty (50) pounds
