Candidates must live near Palmetto, Florida , as the position requires local availability. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, in agricultural settings, or in port operations. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate heavy machinery, including front-end loaders, excavators, bulldozers, and concrete mixers (especially at Port Manatee). Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Transport materials and equipment as needed. Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely and efficiently. Follow all safety procedures and report equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Must reside near Palmetto, FL. Experience operating heavy machinery in construction, agriculture, or port environments.
Required:
