Site Preparation Grader Confidential Sun City, FL 33598 Overview We are seeking a skilled Grader to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation and a solid understanding of construction site practices. The Grader will be responsible for ensuring that surfaces are properly graded and prepared for paving, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities Operate grading equipment, including bulldozers and graders, to achieve precise surface levels. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow on construction sites. Perform maintenance checks on equipment, ensuring all machinery is in safe working condition. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues. Assist in the operation of additional heavy machinery as needed, such as loaders and water trucks. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Participate in site preparation activities, including building and paving tasks. Requirements Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with graders and bulldozers. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations. Ability to operate various types of machinery, including tankers and water trucks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting and prolonged standing.
